L'ORA DELLA TERRA: LUCI SPENTE &.....

Proprio no! Oggi 26 Marzo 2011 non potevamo non parlare della Giornata della Terra: la campagna mondiale del Wwf contro i cambiamenti climatici. Evento clou di oggi “L'ora della Terra” che scatterà alle 20,30 (ora italiana) e per un'ora (fino alle 21,30) vedrà spegnersi decine di monumenti in tutto il paese, avvenimento che coinvolgerà poi, nelle ore successive (grazie al fuso orario), altri 130 paesi in giro per il mondo. Chiudete gli occhi e immaginate lo spettacolo: Tour Eiffel, Ponte del Bosforo, Empire, Kuwait Towers e moltissimi altri monumenti che si spegneranno per un'ora regalando un segno di speranza al nostro pianeta! In tutto questo anche noi possiamo fare la nostra parte....come?! In tre modi! Il primo, spengendo anche noi le luci della nostra abitazione per un'ora, accendendo una candela o semplicemente mettendoci sul balcone o in giardino ad osservare in quanti faranno la stessa cosa intorno a noi. Il secondo, collegandovi al www.beyondthehour.org e inserendo la vostra “Buona Azione” per “salvare” la Terra. Basterà un twit, una frase, una foto o se volete un video, che descriva cosa potete/possiamo (mi ci metto anche io!!) fare per salvaguardare la Terra. Il terzo, lanciando virtualmente nell'universo una lanterna contenente un vostro messaggio su www.earthhour.org/kids/MakeALantern.aspx oppure collegandovi ai più famosi social network che hanno deciso di appoggiare “Hearth Hour” e cioè Twitter: http://twitter.com/earthhour, Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/earthhour, YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/earthhour e Flickr: http://www.flickr.com/photos/earthhour_globa. Intanto che pensate alla vostra “Azione”, date un'occhiata a quelle già inserite, chiude ancora una volta gli occhi, e pensate a che mondo migliore sarebbe se tutti noi facessimo davvero qualcosa di concreto...oltre l'ora!

HEARTH HOUR!!

No way! Today (march 26) we must talk about Earth Day: the global campaign against climate change sponsored by WWF. The most important event is "Earth Hour" will start at 8,30 pm (Italian time) when dozens of monuments throughout the world (thanks to time zone) turned their lights off for one hour (until 9,30pm). Closed your eyes and imagine the show: Tour Eiffel, the Bosphorus Bridge, Empire, Kuwait Towers and many other monuments that will go out for an hour giving a sign of hope for our planet! We can do our part .... how?! In three ways! First, turning off the lights in our house for an hour, lighting a candle or just stay on your balcony or in the garden to see what happened around. Second, by connecting to www.beyondthehour.org and entering your "good deeds" to "save" the Earth. Just a twit, a word, a picture or if you want a video to describes what you / we (I'll put me too!) do to safeguard the Earth. Third, virtually launching a lantern in the universe containing a message on your www.earthhour.org /kids/MakeALantern.aspx or visiting the most famous social networks that have decided to support "Hearth Hour" Twitter: http://twitter.com/earthhour, Facebook: www.facebook.com/earthhour, YouTube www.youtube.com/earthhour or Flicker www.flickr.com/photos/earthhour_globa. At the end, once again, closes your eyes and think how the world would be better if all of us do something about it ...
